Miaoli Gongguan Township Chuhuangkeng is one of the oldest oil wells in Asia.
After oil mining began during the Qing Dynasty, it gradually developed into a settlement with a unique cultural and ecological environment, evolving with time and industrial changes. Next to the pit, there is a hot spring cave where hot water gushes out from the ground with a loud, pounding sound, earning it the name "Sulfur Cave Echo Spring."

"Loudly Lightning Studio" uses beam light towers to project onto the night sky and surrounding mountains, interpreting the imagery of oil well blowouts and the echo of the spring. This is combined with locally collected mixed sounds, allowing passersby or those who stop to experience the site’s cultural essence through both visual and auditory sensations, constructing their imagination of the area's cultural landscape.
