Chaos / Power / Louder is a sound performance that focuses on the act of drumming, sonic and light tension, and the aesthetics of noise.

The artist began learning to drum in 2024 while preparing for a solo exhibition. Through the physical experience of drumming, he felt a direct and visceral physical feedback between "power" and being "louder," creating a stark sensory contrast with his previous performance states that relied heavily on digital interfaces.

The work debuted in 2025 at his solo exhibition, INTRO for the CHAOS - YAO Chung-Han. Collaborating with theater performer Cho Kai-Cheng, the duo engaged in an improvisational and evolving dialogue responding to the structural framework of the exhibition space and its site-specific reality.

The second performance took place later that same year (2025) at the solo exhibition Yao Chung-Han: Electronic Monsters, part of Fukuoka Art Next in Japan. Staged in the gymnasium of the former Maizuru Junior High School, the artist utilized an electronic drum interface to deeply interconnect the on-site installation with the architectural space. By blending noise, sound and light control, and electronic music within the auditory dimension, the performance transformed and reconstructed the sensory perception of the space.
